St. Paul's Family Handbook
The St. Paul’s Lutheran School Family Handbook includes history, programs, guidelines, and policies of St. Paul’s Lutheran School. This handbook is a general guide for our families and certainly cannot be all inclusive with every policy and procedure of our school. If clarification is needed, please feel welcome to speak to a teacher or call our school office for further explanation.
Weather Policy
St. Paul’s will close school when necessary because of snow or inclement weather. If a closing is needed for other than these reasons, appropriate phone calls will be made to inform families. Should inclement weather arrive while school is in session, St. Paul’s will remain in session until the end of the school day. Parents may come early and pick up their children at any time in this situation.
Information regarding the annual area winter SNOW WATCH can be heard on most major TV stations (KSDK, KMOV, KTVI, KDNL) in the St. Louis area beginning around 6:00 a.m. Please do not call the school for information about morning school closings—listen to the continuous local morning news reports. St. Paul’s is part of a phone-call networking system (School Reach) that will attempt to call each home with school closing information. There will also be a banner on top of every page of this website when the school is closed due to weather.
