St. Paul's Lutheran Middle School
St. Paul’s provides a strong traditional learning community for middle schoolers in a loving, supportive Christian environment. Grades 5 through 8 are especially challenging for many students as they desire more independence and individuality, and St. Paul’s provides a safe environment for learning, growth, and independence during the especially challenging middle school years.
Of course our middle school includes our technology initiatives (1:1 iPad in 7th and 8th grades), a strong academic foundation, complete high school preparation, a fully equipped science lab, full computer lab, and library, but we also want these transitional years to build on students’ spiritual foundation for the future.
LCMS Middle School: Lutheran educational approach
While seeking identity, St. Paul’s offers an identity in Jesus Christ as a child of God – pointing to this purpose in everyday life. As a Christian middle school, we offer religion and confirmation classes, weekly chapel, daily devotions, discipline based on God’s grace and the desires He has for all his children, faith family leadership, and daily devotions, helping students realize God’s plan and purpose for their lives as His child.
Our mission as a private middle school is to develop caring, servant leaders which comes to fruition in middle school as unique opportunities are provided for leadership and servant-hood through extra-curricular programs and sports teams. Leading faith families, morning prayer, chapel services, academic projects, and student groups give students a chance to stretch themselves as leaders and engage with those around them. In addition, students partner with groups in the community to serve through making and serving meals at Ronald McDonald House, collecting and delivering items to local food pantries, writing notes of thanks to servicemen and first responders, and several other creative outlets.
